This video gives a pictorial history of the Florida citrus industry by showing the citrus groves, packinghouses, citrus queens, and numerous people involved in the citrus industry over the years.
The
history of the Florida citrus industry is a rich one, and not just in citrus
gold. There were many people involved, as well as their families, and a lot of
work was put into making it what it is today. The goal of the Florida Citrus
Hall of Fame is to preserve this history and this pictorial history video is
just one of the ways in which we have been able to do so.
So sit
back, relax, grab some popcorn if you’d like, and take a stroll down memory
lane with us to look at the development of the Florida citrus industry.
It’s a history worth remembering.
