Videos

If a picture is worth 1,000 words, than a video is worth a million. Some stories lend themselves better to a visual telling, rather than a wordy blog post. The following short-form documentaries are created by fellowship students as a way to tell the stories of the citrus industry in a way that is engaging and, we hope, entertaining.

This video tells the story of the Strawn Family in Volusia County, Florida and their development of a modern packinghouse design as well as new types of oranges. This video was created by Sam Redmond, Archives Technician at Florida Southern College, and is based on research done by Fellowship Student Emily Allen.
